Justin has been home for about 10 days and there really hasn’t been too much to report. Aside from very frequent bathroom visits, everything else has been going well.
Today, Justin had his post-op visit with the surgeon who cleared him to return to the Imodium regiment. This has already, in 8 hours, been a God send. With the “pressure regulator” in place (Justin’s words… spoken like a true landscape architect) hydration will drastically improve and… fingers crossed… he’ll gain back some of the staggering 50 lbs he has lost through this journey.
My opinion… Justin is in really good spirits. I can’t tell you how much I admire his strength and determination. This experience has not been for the faint of heart. Furthermore, he continues to be every resident’s favorite patient and has even made his emotionally void doctor smile! Inspiration abound!
And here he is in bed, right this moment, since I haven’t gotten a good picture recently. 😍
